Description
Heat Stress Awareness is an important consideration in a workplace safety program. Consider employees working in high temperature environments, even if it is not weather related, as heat stress can impact health at any time in a hot environment.
Train employees to watch for signs of heat exhaustion on and off the job. These can include symptoms such as headache, dizziness, fainting, weakness, irritability, confusion, thirst, nausea, or vomiting.
